Professional Testing asked me to redesign their marketing collateral for their spring trade show booth to increase their visibility in the market and promote their announcement of a new testing certification. With the three new pop up banners, reference poster and pocket folder with notepad that I designed, Professional Testing saw a sharp increase in attendee-initiated interaction and popularity of handout materials. We built on their existing brand by pulling in and accentuating their brand colors in an implementation that would strike a contrast with other trade show exhibitors’ booth displays while fitting well with the show’s theme.
I focused on a minimalist presentation with plenty of negative space to create striking visuals that led the eye around and through the design. This provided a continual flow of information as attendees approached and interacted. The banners served as a useful introduction to the company’s offering, allowing conversations with attendees to begin at a more substantive level than at previous events. The poster and folder were desirable take aways for attendees, being visually interesting, informative and useful.
This project laid the groundwork for Professional Testing to attain better brand recognition and polish their reputation in the industry.
